Riviera Maya, Mexico was beautiful! We stayed at this really nice resort that had its own little swimming cove. Thankfully, no sharks, BUT people we were with saw a small one swimming in the cove the morning we left. Yikes!
I feel fortunate that we were able to take this trip in October 2015. We spent quality time with people we love the most and we experienced things that not everyone has the opportunity to do.
We snorkeled in the ocean, without a guide, all alone. I swam 15 ft. behind a stingray. Seriously, no joke. It was incredibly scary, yet exhilarating at the same time. We tubed, snorkeled and cliff jumped at XelHa. I screamed like a little girl jumping off the cliff, but I did it!
If you haven’t yet, I suggest trying out an all-inclusive resort once or twice, (or more!) times in your life. Even though the food wasn’t realllly free, it felt like it and I lavished in the thought!
Here are some great pictures from our time there.
